An American Arts & Crafts Tea Caddy (SOLD)
North Attleboro, MA, c. 1880, by Whiting & Co.
Height: 5 1/2", Weight: 12 oz.

This rare caddy is one of the prettiest examples of the Japonesque style in American silver. The hammering of the body of the caddy creates the illusion of ripples on a pond. The caddy has been beautifully preserved, and not over-polished.
