The arms are probably those of Anthony Grey (1696-1723) who married Lady Mary Tufton, daughter of Thomas, Earl of Thanet. At the time of his marriage Anthony was styled Earl of Harold, a courtesy title derived from his father, Henry Grey, Lord Lucas, who from 1710 onward was the Duke of Kent. |
