A Set of Four George III Candlesticks
London, 1763-64 by John Cafe
Height: 10 1/2", Weight: 88 ozs.

These are a slight and pleasant variation of a common form of George III candlestick. The difference is that these have a square knop below the nozzle, while the majority of this type have an octagonal knop. The square knop gives the sticks a bit more presence.
